Infected Bronchogenic Cyst with Mycobacterium tuberculosis as a Cause of Respiratory Distress: A Case Report

چکیده

Bronchogenic cyst is a common primary of the mediastinum, and it usually located in middle mediastinum intrapulmonary regions. cysts are lesions congenital origin that occur due to abnormal budding from primitive ventral foregut. They pediatric age group have symptoms respiratory distress, recurrent cough, wheezing, stridor. Definitive management involves surgical excision. We herein report our experience bronchogenic complicated by Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection an 8-month-old infant. The patient underwent right posterolateral thoracotomy, filled with purulent fluid was excised. given antituberculous medication, post-operative outcome good.
